Job Title: Senior Technical Administrator
Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Technical Administrator to design, manage, and support core infrastructure systems, including LAN/WAN networks, servers, storage solutions, firewalls, hyperconverged systems, and cloud platforms. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless services. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong command of security principles, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to lead and mentor other administrators within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Networking:
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Design and implement policies, procedures, and training for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
- Strategically assess network capacity to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including essential hardware (routers, switches, etc.).
- Implement and manage VOIP systems, including server, phone, and fax configurations.
- Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Ensure connectivity and security across all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and network appliances.
Systems:
- Design, deploy, and enhance applications, software, and operating platforms.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
- Develop and implement server and security audits, backup procedures, and recovery processes.
- Integrate and monitor enterprise systems, ensuring connectivity across shared software, groupware, and applications.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in technical engineering/administration with an emphasis on infrastructure management.
- Expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN, network security, and VOIP systems.
- Advanced skills with testing tools for voice/data circuits and experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and HP network solutions.
- Knowledge of VLAN architectures, OSI model, B2B VPNs, and hyperconverged solutions like Nutanix.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle) and virtual workload management (Citrix/VMWare).
- Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and high-availability options.

Salary Range:
$88,000.00 – $135,000.00, based on experience.
